The Cancer Coping Center constitutes a group of professionals who volunteer their time and expertise in order to relieve the suffering of those afflicted with cancer by providing coping strategies for cancer patients, their family members and caregivers.
The Mission
To enhance and improve the quality of life for cancer patients, family members and caregivers through creativity. We are a registered nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.

Swap With A Purpose. Cancer Coping Center has launched Swap With A Purpose, its new fundraiser, which seeks to raise funds for the Center through Swap events such as that planned for 28 June 2009. The mission for Swap With A Purpose is to raise funds for the Cancer Coping Center while inspiring and teaching others the benefits of swapping goods and services for a sustainable lifestyle. Clothing Swap and GoldRaiser The Cancer Coping Center is hosting a Clothing Swap and GoldRaiser on 28th June 2009 from 4PM to 7PM at 4542 Shorepointe Way, San Diego, CA. Gather your loot! Our gold buyers from Rock-n-Gold Creations (RGC) will buy your SILVER GOLD PLATINUM DIAMONDS GEMS WATCHES, even Dental gold and serving ware . . . bring it all. There is NO pressure and NO obligation and competitive prices are given based on the current market. Immediate payment is given. RGC has been buying for over 20 years, GIA certified and recently recommended by NEWS 8 as a recommended store to sell you old jewelry. RGC was also voted Best Jewelry Designer in San Diego by Channel 10 A List Awards 2007 & 2008. RGC will donate a portion of the sales proceeds to the Cancer Coping Center. Guests who are unable to attend may drop off items to be evaluated by 21st June 2009 and will be notified of the results of the evaluations during the event by phone.
